Homebuyer Workshop: Provide the foundation of the homeownership journey, starting with understanding the advantages and disadvantages of becoming a homebuyer. We will guide participants through the mortgage process with understanding how to submit a loan application for pre-approval and determining “how much home they can afford” based on debt-to-income ratios.  Participants are introduced to partners involved including appraisers, home inspectors, realtors, and closing agents.  We use NAIHC’s Pathways Homes, a Native Homeownership Guide.
