About the event
Financial Success Education Series: a series of classes focusing on financial education using Oweesta’s Building Native Communities for Families curriculum. The classes take participants through the Circle of Life to understand the concept of planning and saving, developing a spending plan to handle money, understanding credit reports, and how lenders use credit to make loan decisions. We also cover information on consumer protection acts and laws.

The series includes 5 classes held once per week on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm. This is a hybrid series of in person and virtual classes. Class #1 and #5 will be held in person at the NCFS office with dinner provided; with classes #2,#3 & #4 held virtually using Zoom.
Things all participants needed to know:
- Must attend the first class to participate in the full series.
- Must attend all 5 classes to complete the series.
- Allowed one (1) missed class that will need to be completed during a later scheduled class; if you miss more, you’ll need to start the series over.
- Classes will start at 5:30pm; please arrive early.
