Job Overview
The Food Truck Park Manager oversees daily operations, tenant relations, and community engagement activities at the NCFS Food Truck Park. This includes managing the NCFS-owned food trailers and commissary kitchen, facilitating leasing agreements, coordinating vendor support, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. The role emphasizes operational efficiency, tenant assistance, event coordination, and effective digital management.
This is a limited duration position anticipated to conclude on December 31, 2025, with potential renewal based on funding and executive approval.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Food Truck Park Operations (45% Daily)
•Oversee daily park operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, functionality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
•Act as the primary contact for food truck vendors, assisting with operational issues, setup, and utilities.
•Manage utilities, maintenance schedules, and maintain accurate documentation for the park and NCFS-owned food trailers for health and safety compliance.
•Monitor vendor adherence to health and safety regulations.
•Ensure park aesthetics remain inviting, addressing seating, signage, and lighting.
•Facilitate leasing agreements, including application reviews, tenant orientations, billing, invoice reconciliation, and lease compliance.
•Track vendor payments and renewals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Sub-Leasing and Business Incubator Support (20% Monthly)
•Actively market and manage sub-leasing of NCFS-owned food trailers to vendors.
•Conduct orientations, application reviews, scheduling, billing, invoice reconciliation, and lease compliance oversight for trailer lessees.
•Provide ongoing tenant support, ensuring proper use and upkeep of food trailers.
•Facilitate vendor introductions to NCFS business resources such as workshops, events, technical assistance
3. Commissary Kitchen Operations (15% Weekly)
•Oversee equitable scheduling and usage of the commissary kitchen.
•Facilitate leasing agreements for Commissary Kitchen lessees, including application reviews, orientations, billing, invoice reconciliation, scheduling and ongoing lease compliance oversight.
•Manage inventory, replenishment, and maintenance of kitchen supplies and equipment.
•Coordinate annual inspections, certifications, and documentation to ensure kitchen compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
4. Event Coordination and Community Engagement (15% Monthly)
•Plan and execute park events (food festivals, themed nights, local markets) to increase visibility and customer traffic.
•Collaborate with local organizations to develop community-oriented events and activities.
•Promote events through social media, community partnerships, email campaigns, and traditional marketing materials.
5. Digital Management and Strategic Reporting (5% Monthly)
•Maintain and update the park’s digital presence, including social media accounts, websites, and vendor/event information.
•Monitor digital engagement and prepare analytics reports.
•Assess operations regularly, gather feedback from vendors and customers, and report findings to NCFS leadership.
•Contribute to strategic planning initiatives aimed at continuously improving park operations.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management, event coordination, vendor relations, hospitality, or customer service roles.
•Experience with food service or retail management is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
•Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Familiarity with food service regulations and health codes.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Wix, Google platforms, scheduling software, CRM tools, and social media management.
•Basic financial management skills including budgeting, billing, and revenue collection.
•Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends for events.
